The stage of the opera "Turandot" of "Arena di Verona," which is the first time in Korea in 100 years, will be released on air.

In SBS's "Culture Relay," which will air at 12:20 p.m. on the 7th, the opera "Turandot" is the posthumous work of Italian composer Giacomo Puccini (1924), one of the world's most loved operas.

In particular, this performance made headlines as the first performance of the world-renowned opera festival "Arena di Verona Festival" to mark the 140th anniversary of Korea-Italy diplomatic relations and the 100th anniversary of Puccini's death.

The first part of the "Culture Station" opera "Turandot," which first aired on the 31st, received more attention and love than usual, with an average viewership of 0.5% (based on Nielsen Korea's metropolitan area) and a maximum viewership of 0.9% per minute, up from the previous week.

Then, on the 7th, Prince Calaf's aria "Nessundorma (Don't Fall asleep), best known in the opera "Turandot," will be unveiled. Prince Calaf, who solves the riddle, the highlight of "Turandot," and Princess Turandot, who stubbornly refuses to love him, are also expected to be released.

Not only the stage and costumes, but also the conducting, directing, cast, and technicians, the Italian original team of the "2024 Arena di Verona Festival" will come over and feel the immersion and emotion provided by KSPO Dome (Olympic Gymnastics Stadium), the largest indoor space in Korea, through "Culture Relay."
