Composer and singer Jeong Eui-song will release a new song "To My Bedroom" based on poet Lee Sang-hwa's poem.
The music video premiere of "To My Bedroom" will be held at 4 p.m. today (31st) at CGV Hall 7 in Wangsimni, Seoul. Actor Moon Hee-kyung, who appeared in the music video with Jeong Eui-song, will attend.
{My Bedroom}' is a melody of poet Lee Sang-hwa's work 'My Bedroom' released in 1923. Jeong Eui-song also sang himself.
, 'To My Bedroom' is considered the longest feature poem in the history of Korean literature. Jeong Eui-song's new song "To My Bedroom" also has a total of 6 verses, and the song is 14 minutes long.
The music video was filmed in Mongolia for six days from September 22-27.
In response, Jeong Eui-song said, "I have been fascinated by poet Lee Sang-hwa's 'To My Bedroom' since I was a middle school student, and I had a desire to make a song someday," adding, "I made that dream into a song this time and produced and released it as a music video."
Currently, Jeong Eui-song is working on selecting 100 explicit works of Korean literary history and making them into songs.
