Three years before the next season is released. However, it is so much fun that it is not a waste of time to wait for a long time. "Hell 2" is ready to fascinate viewers around the world once again with a more colorful narrative and an expanded worldview.

The Netflix series 'Hell 2' will be released today (25th). Ahead of its official release, 'Hell 2' conducted an online presentation to reporters from the 17th to the 21st. One to three episodes, half of all six episodes, were presented. In

{Hell 2>, an extended worldview than the previous one drove the upgraded fun. In season 1, the supernatural phenomena of "Angel's Highland" and "The Demonstration of the Hell Lion" were told, giving viewers a shock like never before.

In the case of works that are usually conducted on a seasonal basis, it is common to create different episodes within the same worldview. However, 'Hell 2' expands the world view itself. It shows a dystopian worldview that is deepened through the revival of demonstrators and the conflict of ideologies between groups. Episodes 1 to 3 of

'Hell 2' draw a story eight years after the first demonstration broke out. The story begins with Jeong Jin-soo (played by Kim Sung-chul), the first chairman of the Saejinni Association, who received a notice of demonstration 20 years ago, reciting his secret and waiting for the hell lion as the time was announced approaches.

In the end, Jung Jin-soo is suddenly revived after receiving a secret demonstration. Contrary to the intention that the fear of the demonstration will save mankind from sin, he will seek another resurgent "Park Jung-ja" (played by Kim Shin-rok) when the indiscriminate condemnation of being a sinner is judged.

Park Jung-ja, who was revived after four years, was secretly in charge of the Saejin Council. The government notices that the Saeshinrihoe was hiding her and reveals her to the world to announce a new God's intention, the so-called "new intention," and tries to take the lead.

In 'Hell 1', we focused on the supernatural phenomenon itself and the individual narrative. We talked about crowd psychology that is creepy and irrational than hell through "Park Jeong-ja," who is notified of his hell in front of his young children, and the public branding him a sinner after watching his demonstration.

'Hell 2' goes further here. While the world is in deep turmoil due to supernatural phenomena, the culmination of a dystopian worldview is shown by several groups confronting each other to take the initiative with their own symbols.

Due to the nature of the genre, dense emotional acting was essential, and Kim Sung-chul, who was newly put into Season 2 along with Kim Shin-rok, led the play with elaborate enthusiasm. It vividly expresses confusion and despair by depicting the hell experienced by the character.

In particular, Kim Sung-chul performed enthusiastically even in a situation where Yoo Ah-in, who was highly praised for his thrilling performance in season 1, got out and was put in place as a substitute. He perfectly filled the vacancy by drawing Jeong Jin-soo, who was desperate and intense, in his own color.

However, the visuals of the hell lions are still unfortunate. In season 1, the prevailing criticism was that the CG of the angel and the hell lion announcing the trip to hell was awkward, but even after three years, the visuals are still not enough to create a sense of fear, so it is questionable whether they will be able to meet higher viewers' expectations.

Moon Geun-young's performance, a special appearance, is also a question mark. He played the role of 'Sunshine Teacher', a key instigator of the fanatic group arrowhead. There may have been a personal sense of accomplishment for the actor as he challenged a character who had not acted before, but it is awkward to wear clothes that are not suitable yet, except for the power of makeup.

'Hell 2' will be released today (25th) on Netflix. Director Yeon Sang-ho, screenplay Yeon Sang-ho, Choi Gyu-seok, appearances by Kim Hyun-joo, Kim Sung-cheol, Kim Shin-rok, Im Sung-jae, Lee Dong-hee, Yang Ik-jun, Lee Re, Hong Eui-joon, Jo Dong-in, Moon So-ri (special appearance), and Moon Geun-young (special appearance).
