"Band boom?" I think it's an optical illusion. It's "Festival Boom." I understand exactly the format of a band, and I don't think the number of people who like it is more than half. And you keep asking me about the band boom, but I don't think they really put me in that boom."

It was the most outstanding opinion I heard while covering the recent "band boom" in the music industry. Singer Lee Seung-yoon, who focuses on band music, viewed the 'band boom' somewhat cynically. At the same time, he expressed his soft feelings, saying, "I hope the band music craze will expand further."

Like his idea of going against the trend, Lee returned to a story that went against many things. Lee Seung-yoon's third full-length album, "The Reversal," which will be released at 6 p.m. today (24th), is an album with a band sound about a mindset that goes against the irreversible.

As many as 15 songs were included. The total running time of the album is one hour and four minutes. It went against the trend of formats such as singles and mini albums of four to five songs, and it was difficult to release a full-length album.

"I grew up listening to a long regular album, and I started music because I was fascinated by it," Lee Seung-yoon said. "From some point on, I decided to live as a person who releases a regular album." "At this point, I just thought it was precious to include these music in one album," he added.

That didn't mean that the production process was just happy. Lee Seung-yoon said, "I had concerns as a musician, and I talked about feeling helpless with my bandmates. It's an album that started with the intention of breaking through this," he confessed. Thanks to this, my concerns as a musician were contained, and I solved my concerns myself.

The music that came out at the end of this process is the title song 'Revidence'. It depicts the mindset of "reversibility" to the world and the times when we wielded and abandoned our shining moments. Lee Seung-yoon explained, "After making this song, I was able to define the message of another song as 'grossing'."

The main characteristic of this title song is that it is a long song that lasts more than five minutes. It is also against the trend of two minutes of music. Lee Seung-yoon said, "I don't care about the length of the song. I'm not a singer in a position where my song has a huge influence on the world, but I can do what I want," he said, adding, "I think the context and narrative can be structured."

Lee Seung-yoon is also proud of his new album because he made the music he wanted to make. He said, "I wanted to make 'Great 曲' since I was young. I think I made the music I wanted to make properly. It took 19 years to implement this 'Daegok', he said. "I'm more proud to make it with my friends."

Furthermore, Lee Seung-yoon said, "I think this year is the year I can focus on as a musician. I think it's okay to focus on this album," he said, expressing satisfaction.

Finally, he also expressed his desire to have a hit song out of these 15 songs. He said, "I don't think music is necessary in the world, and I don't think a singer-songwriter is necessary. "I'm a low-demand supplier," he said, but smiled cheerfully, saying, "Get one."
