Five members of the group SS501 are reunited.

According to multiple K-pop officials, SS501 members are preparing a new album with the goal of releasing it early next year, which marks the 20th anniversary of their debut.

The new album targets Japan, not Korea.

SS501 made its debut back in 2005. It was loved for its countless hits, including "Snow Prince," "U R Man," and "Because I'm Bad."

Then, in 2010, the group's domestic activities stopped as the members took their own steps.

Among them, the best Japanese album was released in 2014, and Heo Young-saeng, Kim Kyu-jong, and Kim Hyung-jun gathered in 2016 to work as a unit as SS301. Nevertheless, the activities of the five members as a whole were suspended for a long time.

The reunion was attempted once in 2020, but it was finally canceled due to the schedule of the members at the time.
