Kim Nam-gil Becomes a Filmmaker..."How to Open the Door" will be released in November.

A short film produced by actor Kim Nam-gil to support young people preparing for self-reliance will be released.

According to Gilstory ENT, which planned and produced the film on the 15th, the movie "How to Open the Door" produced by actor Kim Nam-gil confirmed its release on the 20th of next month. The movie tells the story of Sky, a self-reliance preparation youth who disappeared overnight, the first step toward independence.

This work was planned and produced by Kim Nam-gil, an actor and CEO of the Culture and Arts NGO Gilstory, in partnership with KB Kookmin Bank to achieve cultural solidarity with young people preparing for self-reliance.

Director Park Ji-wan, who won the Blue Dragon Film Award for Best New Director for the film "The Day I Die," and director Heo Ji-ye, who directed a number of independent films such as "Save the Cat," were co-written and directed.

In addition, actress Chae Seo-eun, who made a big impression by appearing in various works such as "Hi Cookie," "Queen Iron" and "The Weather Service People," will play the role of Ha-neul, a young self-reliance preparation man, to show the situation of young people of her age realistically.

{How to Open the Door' was planned and produced along with the 'Together Road' campaign to support the creative activities of young people preparing for self-reliance. At the last Busan International Film Festival, all seats were sold out and received a hot response. The movie will be released exclusively at Lotte Cinema on Nov. 20.
