Comedian Lee Jin-ho confessed to illegal gambling on the Internet.

Lee Jin-ho said on his SNS today (14th), "I started playing on an Internet illegal gambling site as an accidental opportunity in 2020 and took on a debt that was too much to handle," adding, "I'm so ashamed and sorry."

"I was able to come to my senses late because of the stinging advice of my acquaintances and the fear that I might not be able to do this job again, but I had already received financial help from many people," he said. "When I got a call from an unknown number, my heart was racing, and I felt like I was being beaten every day by the fear of when this would be known to the world."

"I thought I could at least get out of this anxiety after confessing everything and being punished, but I couldn't make a choice because I had to work to pay off my debt a little bit, so I couldn't decide if that was my own greed," he said, explaining why he hid this fact so far.

Lee Jin-ho said, "As a celebrity on the show, I sincerely regret the past when I forgot my duty and ruined it with a moment of wrong judgment," adding, "I promise to repay the debt left to me no matter what."

"I would also like to bow down and apologize to many of you who would have been disappointed by me, who caused a social stir and was in a hurry to hide it. I will also faithfully receive the police investigation and pay for my fault," he said.
