"To be honest, I was anxious and nervous because I wanted to keep going. Time seems to pass to check everything, so I just did it for now. In my 20s, I thought experience was a fortune. If I join the army next year, I think it will be a time to check on me."Kim Young-dae, who is not an actor

, was still surprisingly honest and serious. He ended his 20s with the drama "Because I Don't Want to See Damage" and scheduled a break from his career in the military next year, looking back on his acting career and expressing his determination for the second act of his new activity.

Kim Young-dae held an interview with the end of tvN's drama "Because I Don't Want to See Damage" at his agency's Outer Universe headquarters located in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the 10th. The drama, which starred Shin Min-ah, Han Ji-hyun and Lee Sang-i along with Kim Young-dae, finished with a national viewership of 4.8% on the 1st.

Through this work, Kim Young-dae showed further growth in chemistry with his counterpart and character expression. Born in 1996, she is 29 years old this year, and the drama is expected to be released for the last time in her 20s. As a result, I had a time to look back on my 20s while delivering my thoughts on finishing my work.

◆ "Pull off the fixed image..."I liked your unique character."

Kim Young-dae played 'Kim Ji-wook', a part-timer at a convenience store who gets married to Sang-young (Shin Min-ah) in 'Because I Don't Want to Be Damaged'. At first, Kim Ji-wook bicker with guest Sang-young, who is an unfavorable and conflicted guest, but as he accepts the fake marriage proposal and gets to know Sang-young, he gets closer and shakes his mind.

Kim Young-dae said the production team wanted to peel off his entrenched image, and he also wanted to show a different side of himself. It was a challenge for him, who mainly played characters with unique settings such as kings and top stars, to play relatively ordinary characters, and it was not easy to use props to hide his beauty in the setting.

"First time going into the set at the beginning and my house was a single room for the first time (laughs). But wearing glasses and wigs as a setting wasn't a 'normal' either. I think the wig is actually a dramatic permission, and in fact, it contains a lot of Ji-wook's psychology that he doesn't want to stand out. He tried to hide his vision with horn-rimmed glasses."

Ji-wook, who he played, was a character holding the secret of his birth. He was the half-brother of Bok Kyu-hyun (Lee Sang-eun), a honeybee education, and he had a great desire not to harm anyone because he ruined his mother's life and broke her grandmother's heart. Kim Young-dae was deeply immersed in the narrative of the character he played again this time.

"I felt sorry for Ji-wook's sad narrative, and I thought a lot about how to implement it. I thought that speaking honorifics to customers to the end also indicated how carefully you consider the relationship. I thought that a person with that kind of psychology would be very passive, so I was just listening to a lot of other people's stories on the set."

◆ "Shinmin, counterpart, please be considerate without difficulty..."It only looked like Haeyoung."

He said that Shin Min-ah's help in expressing a different character was great. When I was in school, I was very excited when I found out that I met Shin Min-ah as the opposite character because I really liked "My Girlfriend is a Gumiho," but when I was filming, I was able to immerse myself in the scene and learn a lot because I only looked like "Sang Sang-young," not Shin Min-ah.

"We're 12 years younger than each other, and thankfully, Haeyoung and Jiwook were able to come out because of their consideration so that it wouldn't be difficult for me. You're really calm, but you're talking a lot about your work, so the sense of distance has decreased a lot. You have a lot of opinions, and you listened to my opinions a lot. There was also a scene that was newly expressed with the actors' ideas."

In the play, Ji-wook and Hae-young begin their relationship with a fake marriage, but realize their feelings for each other and begin to truly get close. In the latter half of the play, they also go through a breakup. However, the two, who reunited six months later, had a happy ending, confirming their unwavering feelings for each other. Kim Young-dae said he liked the flow.

"I thought we should break up once. I thought we had to clear up the relationship of a fake wedding in order to make sure the relationship we met was fake. It felt like a breakup put an end to the premise that it was a fake wedding, and when we met again, we had an opportunity to meet sincerely. I think the two of them would have lived happily ever after the ending."

◆ "I will join the military next year..."I want to have the time to look around in my 30s."

This drama is a proper mix of reality and fantasy. The story of falling in love while in a fake relationship is a regular subject of fantasy dramas, but "I don't want to lose money" differentiates the heroine from the story of choosing a fake marriage for the collection of congratulatory money and promotion. Was the actor also influenced by the view of love or marriage?

"I don't think I'm calculating yet, I think I'm trying to give it all away. If Ji-wook is in conflict or upset, he leaves with all of it, but I thought I should not think alone and do such a thing like Ji-wook. This work has not changed my values and marriage views much, but I feel that my understanding has expanded."

Kim Young-dae, who introduced this year's special appearance "The Perfect Family" and the lead film "Because I Don't Want to See Loss," is filming "Dear X," which is scheduled to be released next year. After finishing his 20s, he is also planning to join the military next year. He said he is entering a new scene and starting again, and he said he wants to show his next character well, and he also expressed his feelings about joining the military. In my 20s

" I learned to 'relieve expectations'. It's not all up to me, so I thought I should experience it well and put it down. If I join the army next year, I think it will be a time to look back and check myself, and in my 30s, I want to be equipped with the space to see my surroundings. Of course, I have no regrets about the past time I ran without looking to the side or back."
