In the first broadcast, the members arrived in Malaysia's "Saba Jungle," a total of 3,700 kilometers away from Korea, a five-and-a-half-hour flight and a five-hour drive. Each team will face off for 10 days in the first round of "Tropical Forest," the second round of "Desert Island," and the third round of "Hidden Place," and only one of the four teams from the jungle, physical, military, and national teams can have the title of "survival king." The first mission was to conquer the farm tree, where two team members ran through the mud to find a "team flag" hidden in eight boxes at the end of the road, and then put it on the top of a tree about 13 meters high where fire ants lurk. The lead changed several times in the process of finding the flag by breaking a wooden box with a mud running and hammer, which are prone to falling and rolling, but Kim Byung-man, who identified the weaknesses of the slippery mud shoes and fought barefoot, first put the team flag on the palm tree.

However, there was an unexpected situation in which the flags of the "Jungle Team" and the "Physical Team" were reversed. There was a heated discussion about the results, and in the process, Lee Seung-gi brought laughter with his pleasant words. He asked his national team members, "What do you do in this case in the tournament?" and set it as a standard for international matches. Kim Byung-man, who was embarrassed by Lee Seung-ki's logical remarks, complained, "If you're going to talk this much, you're going to go on studio entertainment shows. Why did you come to the jungle?" and caused laughter. However, after Kim Dong-hyun gave full support to the "Jungle Team," saying, "I think the military team is better than the first place," the jungle team was decided to be the first place.

The Jungle Team, which won first place in the "Farm Tree Conquest," has the authority to decide where all teams survive. The 'physical team' had to cross the river, but because of the waterside, they put the team flag on a survival site with fewer bugs. The "military team" received a survival site in the middle of the forest, where various bugs are located, but fruits are convenient. While the previous two teams used up their power with bamboo axes, Kim Byung-man used the properties of dry bamboo to throw it to the floor, easily splitting bamboo.

In particular, Kim Byung-man's ability shone even more as all teams were struggling to make a fire. As the moisture in the jungle caused only smoke and did not catch fire easily, all the teams gathered in one place and were eager to start a fire. Kim Byung-man started the second challenge by using only bamboo to make a fire, but when it didn't go well, he started the second challenge by using the wire of the mask and a battery. When even this failed, Kim Byung-man eventually succeeded in making a fire by winding bamboo sawdust around the shell and sucking it up with his mouth against the embers. All the teams were united in one mind in the fire given by "Jungle Prometheus" Kim Byung-man in five hours.

The four teams who solved the "house" and "fire" with difficulty were given the "eel hunting" mission. A bare-handed fishing competition has begun for grilled eel, which is only given to the team that catches the most. "Marine Boy" Park Tae-hwan was expected to perform, but he failed to use his strength due to the lack of goggles, giving a twist. Among them, Kim Byung-man caught two in an instant by catching the slippery eel with his hand and throwing it right out, drawing admiration. Kim Byung-man's Jungle Team, which became the final winner, enjoyed the victory by monopolizing additional benefits and all eels.

If the previous "Law of the Jungle" focused on survival, four teams took the form of a confrontation, adding more thrill and tension. It was fun to compare the strategies of each team on the mission and the way the house was built in different forms. The four teams gathered together to survive and faced off fiercely in the match, giving laughter and emotion. Unpredictable scenes were created in the course of the match, such as Choo Sung-hoon, who fell into the water while catching eels, Lee Seung-gi, who slides in the mud, and Kim Min-ji, who runs without caring even if her shoes come off.

Above all, Kim Byung-man's performance, the epitome of the jungle, stood out. He said, "I'm confident as long as I survive. You can save energy. But this time, I have to use all my energy as a battle mission, but I'm honestly worried because I have to survive," he said, adding that he is completely different from the Law of the Jungle. He was not the main character of the program under his name, but as a survival player who could be eliminated at any time, he felt a special determination in his eyes toward the jungle. Although his physical strength may have weakened over time, Kim Byung-man proved from the first episode that experience and inner workings are not easy to keep up with.

Thanks to Kim Byung-man's strong performance, harsh survival missions against the backdrop of the jungle, and fierce team competition, the first episode of "Survival King" ranked first overall with a viewer rating of up to 3.9% per minute (hereinafter referred to as Nielsen Korea, national standard) and an average of 3.5%. Attention is focusing on whether the "survival king" can stand tall as a new powerhouse in jungle entertainment.
