Hyun Woo-seok, a new star in the independent film industry, will sign an exclusive contract with management company XYZ STUDIO and accelerate his acting activities.

Today (7th), XYZ STUDIO announced, "We have signed an exclusive contract with Hyun Woo-seok, who has established himself as an independent film icon by promoting his face through various film festivals."

The agency continued, "Hyun Woo-seok, who is showing the charm of doubling the character's charm in each work as well as fresh masks, will provide generous support to permeate viewers' hearts through more diverse works."

Hyun Woo-suk, who debuted as a fashion model in 2018, entered acting with the Netflix series "When You Like It" in 2019. Since then, he has played Kim Min-jae, a cheerleader of Yeonhui University, in SBS's Cheer Up, following the Netflix series "Health Teacher Ahn Eun-young" and JTBC's "Live On."

He also appeared in films such as "The Day I Die," "A Child for a Child," "Big Sleep," "Dolphin," independent films "Time to Cheer Up" and "You and Me 5 Minutes." Hyun Woo-seok won the Korean Competition Feature Film Award and the Korean Competition Award for his films starring in the 20th Jecheon International Film Festival and the 25th Jeonju International Film Festival.

XYZ STUDIO, where Hyun Woo-seok signed an exclusive contract, belongs to actors Jung Sung-il, Jang Yoon-ju, Jo Bo-ah, Ji Hye-won and Geum Hae-na.
